meaningful communication here is impossible because there are too many users and you don't know a single thing about 99% of them. you don't know if they are trolling, you don't know where they are coming from, you can't tell if they are coping hard considering their other posts

I mean, makhachev posts about being an MIT graduate in a random thread and 3 guys seriously reply to him. just a drastic example.

i think these 2 changes would drastically improve the quality of the forum:
1. creating private subforums for people with more posts (500+ or 1000+ and so on)
2. collecting data about users (mods should go through everyone's posts and compile a fact-sheet about them) and making it viewable on their profiles for reference (for members of a certain rank) - would help in filtering larpers out because it was not uncommon on lookism to go through someone's post history and see they'd claimed (excluding obvious trolling) every height from 5ft8 to 6ft2, for example

should have posted this in suggestions, but nvm

You just want to be the center of attention. Just make your own forum atp.

jfl at this hypocrisy. you literally add to this by making alts

that's not wrong, but really not the reason i'm writing this

there's no link-up or contextual discussion here, if you singled out all posts from most threads, you could barely realize they belong to the same discussion

lookism was on the other end of the spectrum in this sense, you could tell whose alt someone was based on their username or first post alone. too small.

@New Poster posted a fantastic observation yesterday and it went nowhere. why? because most of the active users barely post anything of substance and, more importantly, are legit secluded weirdos with 0 experience to share/contribute with.

not my cup of tea, I have rl for small talk.
