For Male Dimorphism, longer mfrs are better while, so harmony wise you can still have a longer mfr while still being ideal in harmony (opposite for women)

Males tend to have longer midfaces.
We usually see attraction in pattern recognition which is why things like facial harmony, facial Averageness, and Dimorphism are universally a part of attraction.
Since men tend to have longer mfrs than women, more compact midfaces are naturally seen as more masculine.
