The lack of consistency in the PSL rating from 1-8 really holds back on an "objective" view of someone's face. I have seen guys that are clearly Chads get rated "PSL 5 max". I think that there are a lot different views on how good a PSL 5 is. If we just did a 1-10 scale like @SpearOfOrion did (which was really good tbh) I think it would be much easier. Think about it, a PSL 5 to one guy here is just a 6.25 while I have seen another person say it is equal to 7.5. Why not just use 1-10? I think it would help clear misconfusion and there is no converting needed.

Obviously not. The average man is not a 5/10. The average man is a 3/10. There is a difference between average statistically and average by standard.
Example: you get 20 guys to shoot 100 free throws. What is the average of 100? 50. Statistically that would mean shooting 50% is average. But the average amount made by the 20 guys was 70. By standards that would mean making less than 70/100 is below average.
There could be only 3 guys out of 7 billion people that are 8/10+ because average statistically means nothing. It's about standards for average.
