I have a glasses prescription and usually not wear them outside, but on the rare occasions that I do I never get mistaken for an immigrant/foreigner.

Glasses is a status symbol, a sign that you are either very studious or you rot infront of a screen all day and ruined your eyesight, either way you need to have access to certain resources to be doing those things, it's something not compatible with being a fob immigrant.

Glasses seriously piss me off tbh it's absurd how many people need them. Both my parents needed glasses since they were a kid but I was blessed with 20/20 vision.
