If your young going through puberty it is detrimental. it also kills brain cells if you smoke before your brain is fully formed (full brain formation occurs as an adult)

Over 25 and you're good for sure.
I read a study where they propose that after 17 years old the damage done is much less than under 17 as a general rule.
It will still affect your hormones and such though, personally I wouldn't risk it and smoking at 18 and after has still been tied to cognitive decline.
