What’s wrong with regular pull ups
Just do more reps

Is your protein intake at the right level

yep getting about 150-180 grams daily
If you have the equipment Lat pull downs cable flys and deadlifts will do it

just take it easy in weights, joints don’t recover and build as fast as muscle

if you over do it you’ll be crippled from it in a few years

Your form is probably wrong and probably ended up pulling too much with your traps while also trying to get your head over the bar.

Best thing to do with pull ups is to aim to get your chest towards the bar instead of aiming to get your head over it.

Pull ups are easily one of the best exercises if done with proper form.

This tbh, people hyperextend and do that kipping motion with their neck to try and get over the bar, just straining the neck for no reason

Exactly bro, I see a lot of people at the gym doing this thinking they're doing full range of motion when they're just extending their necks.

You need to practice body weight pullups with proper form first before you add weights, I see so many people do weighted pullups when they don't even know how to retract their back/scapula so they end up pulling with their arms, traps and doing neck extensions instead of working their backs jfl
