I get this quite often now. I get called lazy etc when I'm working my ass off studying 3D software in my own time yet I'm called lazy and unmotivated by normies with desk jobs pushing paper all day.
It's not that I don't look for positions that are open or anything, I do. It's just there is fuck all worth while and I'm expected to take up minimum wage jobs over and over again slaving away for £8 an hour during a recession in order to still keep in employment circulation and have a chance at being picked up later.
I send in my CV/resume constantly and companies don't even have the grace to send me an email telling me I haven't got the job. I just get fucking ghosted and left in the dark waiting on them. They don't even give me the respect to tell me I'm a failure.
Why the fuck should I put the hours into constantly applying for shitty jobs that won't even give me the time of day? My CV is perfect according to the benefits office and they themselves have no idea why I'm still unemployed. And as the title suggests, the people that tell me to 'GET A JERB' don't help a nigga out and put my CV through, either through powerlessness, laziness on their own part or they genuinely just don't give enough of a fuck and would prefer to just shit on me.
On top of all this I am completely invisible to the opposite sex whilst watching all my friends get engaged and plan weddings and I'm still stuck in purgatory at my parents house unemployed without anyone willing to reach their hand out to give me a job. It's crazy man, I'm almost tempted to not bother pursuing traditional job acquiring methods and just practice 3D dev, make an art station etc and hopefully just do freelance work.
Going back to university would be more trouble than it's worth though I have considered it since my degree is useless in the world of work. I just don't know what people are even wanting from me anymore.
