So I have been researching social psychology for the next part in this guide I'm making. And I remembered turtle once made this thread about the "telepathic effect" where peoples preconceived opinions effect the way they view other people. Apparently this is a thing called priming.

Heres the definiton:
In psychology, priming is a technique in which the introduction of one stimulus influences how people respond to a subsequent stimulus. Priming works by activating an association or representation in memory just before another stimulus or task is introduced.
To put this in a different way: if a girl is primed to believe you are ugly because she keeps hearing about how ugly you are from her friends that will effect how she sees you and she will view you as more ugly then she would have otherwise if she wasn't primed

But I feel like it can only failo dudes. Like if I paid a bunch of chicks to hype me up and say I was the most attractive dude on earth, the bitch would 100% still say I'm subhuman
