Went to ortho for MSE left with a Double jaw surgery consultation booked.

For some context i’m 16 and have a minor underbite with a long mandible and decently recessed maxilla. By no means is my case exteme at all and I look somewhat normal in terms of my lower thirds. I decided to book an ortho with hopes i would be able to get MSE + Reverse pull headgear to advance my midface forward and get a wider scull. After all scans and a consultation the ortho decided the best route for me would be a BSSO + Lefort 1 when I turn 18, insane life fuel

also i had mse and a reverse pull headgear and it only helped my pallate but did not do anything to my maxilla/skull/face, my face did not get any wider nor my maxilla got less recessed, it just has more of a reverse exponential curve, because my pallate is more in front but the rest of the maxilla is just as behind as it was so surgery is a must for looksmaxxing
