Were can i get a cheap and reliable pallet expander

I had a pallet expander when I was younger, I'm now 17 and I still think I have a narrow pallet and my midface is kind of long aswell as my teeth are bending inward. I'd rather not go to the orthodontist. Does anyone know a reliable source were I can order a good pallet expander that's not insanely expensive?

im assuming you're referring to the garbage that's being sold on mewingshop, which is complete bullshit

you have to go to the ortho to get one placed in that will actually work, but if you're getting one in hopes of having a wider face / better "bonemass" you might aswell not get an expander at all

I would hope for wider face and better bone mass but at the very least just to get a wider smile witch it would definitely work for that if not the bonemass so still beneficial

you're meant to get expanders before 15yo, at 17 his suture is probably nearly fused & the expander will only fuck his teeth up

It's not all bad. You could easily get braces after the pallet expander to fix it.

getting an expander, fucking your teeth up and not getting any significant change in your palette width, then repairing the unnecessary damage with braces that will cost a few thousand
