Forums are the backbone of real internet. Its a litmus test. People who provide value to the internet are going to be people who know the internet, and who mainly provide accurate content. Forums have always been the space of those people. Thats because people who are actually qualified to use the internet will do so out of self interest and not popularity, so these people will have more developed and niche interests within it. From 4 chan, to other niche forums and places that hosted the most spectacular people on the planet, like terry davis etc
