Bye boomer dad inherently believes that the neet type of people were only in our new generation who would rots on video games, it was there really a high percentage of people who were this way anyway way before the Internet? I’m pretty sure if the Internet didn’t exist we wouldn’t take shit and we wouldn’t have escapeism so we would probably looks max even harder, but I’m wondering how many people rotted before the Internet, were nerds Etc

I don't know, but probably higher than 90%, it was just unusual not to get married eventually back then, I know incels who are ugly/short/fat/autistic/etc. and their fathers are exactly like them, but they didn't have a problem finding a wife in those days...

I don't think there was any female oppression in Romania, women where everywhere even in those times: schools, high-school, universities, etc. were filled with female teachers and professors, all public institutions had women working there, there were women doctors, scientists, lawyers, judges, politicians, businesswomen, etc...Maybe at they very top of the social hierarchy tended to be more men, but those were people who were privileged by their circumstances or skills, hard work, etc.

As Romania transitioned from communism to capitalism, all the western lifestyle and promiscuity started to become stronger here, girls started to have casual relationships, one night stands, and other stuff even before social media appeared,
Also I remember that even in the early 2000s, more and more girls started to get mobile phones and this would pretty quickly turned them into sluts.
Until then, girls usually lived with their parents(when they were still in high-school and college), and had maybe one phone in the house, whenever a guy would call them, the parents knew, so it would have looked pretty suspicious if too many guys would have called their daughters. After girls started to get cell phones, most of them would freely give their numbers to almost all the guys(as long as they weren't completely hideous), they would brag and show each other their huge list of contacts, their messages, all the guys who were simping for them, they were always on their phones, yapping and texting, their options were now huge as compared to before and their parents had no idea what their daughter were now doing behind their back...

My dad thinks that we don’t have a spine, and that we conform to women and hide our cowardice behind being nice, and casual.
