Should I or anyone eat a banana in the morning pretraining, or is it a better idea to train fasted in the morning, extending your intermittent fasting window.

Im not hungry, i prefer even not eating a breakfast and eating 2000cal meal.
 
Strength training while fasted can make you actually lose muscle, or at least dimnish hypertrophy. Not to mention you'll feel like shit.

fasted workout isn’t going to atrophy your muscles and has good effects for health

eating smth is going to increase your preformance

Typical clickbait bullshit.

Sample size was fucking 15 and study done in 2001.

Also they made them do NINE exercises in one workout, and it was all over the place from bench pressing to leg pressing.

If you are fasted you would ideally do a small but focused workout (i.e on a push day you would do Bench, Shoulder Press, Side Raises, Tricep Pushdowns, and maybe another exercise if you wanted to fit it in there) and milk everything you can out of it, not 9 fucking exercises ranging different muscle groups.

I am not saying fasting won't hinder performance but this is a bullshit study and a bullshit clickbait video.

Also if you were training fasted you would ideally do it 1 hour after waking up, not much more than that.

By not having the banana i would have around 2-3hrs more fasting window.

My last meal would be at 8 so I would have around 14hrs of fasting

With a daily caloric intake of 3kcal, the fast wouldnt mean shit for the workout right?

I find that my workouts are not affected whether I am fasted or not (I usually have to gym in the morning and simply don't have time to eat and wait to digest, and if I do eat it's usually a banana, apple, or a granola bar), and I try to push to near failure always.

If you are eating as much as you say you are then no, I don't think it will be much of a hindrance.

I do try to have some caffeine/preworkout however.

don't listen to the retards who tell you that training fasted is dangerous I've done this shit for so long and i actually feel better, i go to the gym like 30 mins after waking up and i eat breakfast when when i come home

I've not noticed a significant difference...

I guess fasted training could fuck you up hormonally if you're natty.
 
you should ask yourself that, im not going to elaborate on the obvious role of carbs on our metabolism.
I havent eaten a sinlge gram of carbohydrates since 2019 and I'm perfectly healthy
