This is actually crazy. Sure angle and lighting, but what the hell is this downfall still. Prettyboys are 100% dependent on collagen. Sure water post but this new video kinda shocked me lol

In defense of pretty boys, Chico has openly admitted he has basically no skincare routine, except when he's doing product endorsement of course, he was heavily carried by genetics and did no preventative care, and it shows.

I don’t think so, he literally has a minox or finasteride routine which he showed in a vlog. But yeah he could’ve probably done more considering this is his job

Plus he's probably always outside in the sun, having fun with stacy, which makes it worse

What excercising and loss of fat in the face does to a pretty boy

Im pretty sure he’s just aging relatively badly I mean he’s 34 and already degraded towards the end of his twenties

It boils down to 3 things:
  1. Sunscreen
  2. Retinoids
  3. Vitamin C/E
those are the 3 most important products to maintain good skin and avoiding a shitty aging process like Chico

Well yeah, the minox and finasteride shows in his full head of hair, but his skin isn't very reflective of that 😭 As far I'm concerned he has stated that he has no skincare routine, we've only seen him endorse particular skincare products and do his wife's routine, not his own, if we take his word for it, he apparently doesn't have a skincare regimen

That pic of him is horrific but if you look at his Instagram, he still mogs the average 34 year old. He has had a better life than 99% of this forum ever will.

Retard chose the worst and the best pic ever found on the internet

Here’s his newest picture from instagram, still mogs 99.9% of this forum. And those 99.9% of the forum would still kill their families to look like him.

Vitamin C 30% in Silicon by The Ordinary is what I use. A derm told me about this amazing vitamin E/C product a while ago which I wanted to try but sadly forgot the name

Edit: Nvm I found it, it's called C-Correcting Complex 30 by Revision loll. I'd choose that one of the Ordinary if you can find it, some people don't like the texture, me included. Whatever you try to pick a vitamin C serum that doesn't have a water-based formulation because it can easily oxidize

No lol, he looked good in random videos too when he was young. He just has trash skin now and his hair is receding.

What do you think of supplementing vitamin c daily, isn't systemic effect better than topical?

It’s similar but not exactly the same. The problem is that when it comes to key vitamins like A, E, and C, your body prioritizes internal organs first, your skin gets what’s left over. That’s why many people apply these vitamins topically and bypassing the digestive system entirely.

That said, since vitamin C is water-soluble, you can safely take higher doses without much risk, and you’ll still get systemic benefits that can help your skin. So if you don’t want to use a topical vitamin C serum, taking it orally is fine.

However, do NOT do this with vitamins A and E. Both are fat-soluble, which means they can build up in your body and cause toxicity (hypervitaminosis). You don’t really need a vitamin E serum, that's optionally, but you should use a topical vitamin A serum, which we call a retinoid (like tretinoin or weaker variations). No matter how much vitamin A or E you take orally, your skin will still receive very little, so topical application is the best way to get the benefits without risking overdose for those.

Why don't you just rub any seed oil on your face it's high in vitamin e

You can BUTTT vitamin E in oils isn’t as concentrated or stable, so they easily degrade over the time because of the sun and air, specifically made formulation are more stable and potent.

You can use jojoba and argan oil, but those are usually used for moisturizers because they're occlusive ingredients, so while they do offer some vitamin E benefits, it's not the same as a serum.

Either way, if you aren't going to use a vitamin C serum, I don't think doing anything for vitamin E is worth it

It's not available where i live

This shi is expensive asl
Yeah really, Tretinoin (or another retinoid) + Sunscreen is much more better return on investment, the vitamin C and E is a nice-to-have, not a must.

If your goal is to not age like shit, and you're going to use tretinoin, then yeah you should 100% use sunscreen.
  • Tretinoin make your skin sun sensitive, just makes it much easier to burn and increases your risk of skin cancer from sun exposure. So if you're not going to use sunscreen, I wouldn't use Tretinoin at all.
  • The sun destroys your collagen and elastin, so you're getting sagging skin, wrinkling and dull skin very quickly the moment you turn like 30. Sunscreen is the BEST anti-aging preventive treatment, and likely what fucked up Chico.
