What are some alternatives for shaving foam/cream ?

Nearly all shaving foams/creams contain fragrance and other ghey ingredients, in other words, shortcut to acnemaxxing.
Are there any legit alternatives to shaving foams/creams that won't irritate sensitive acne-prone skin ?
I have tried using a cleanser but that just wouldn't allow the blade to glide as easily.
