What are some rules and advice to give me for cutting from 17-18 percent bf to 12-13 while keeping as much muscle

I have never cut before so I need some advice that works. Please tell me the general rules to successfully cut

losing muscle while cutting is a myth.

keep stimulus on muscles, keep volume low and intensity high in the gym + caffeine to combat lethargy from low calorie intake.
