My plan is to take a train into a big city for NYE and then going to some club and hopefully ascending.
How do I make it not super obvious that i'm alone? I feel that even when i'm standing at the line to get in, i'll become super self-aware and realize that I look retarded going in alone and everyone will think i'm a pervert rapist incel.
How do I avoid this?

When I go with friends, I usually purposefully get lost and stand around until a girl approaches me, but this time i'll be alone 100% of the time. Surely i'm not the only one that is a friendless loser that has done this?

I feel you OP, I'm low-key in a similar boat. Women are fucking tough.

I have done this before a few times with some success. Some tips I can give you are

#1 Make sure that you are looking your best. Hit the gym and eat a very healthy diet in the next 5 days. Take care of your skin, hair...etc make sure you smell nice. If you are a lazy sack of shit and you are not looking your best this will lead to insecurity, as you will know that you could have looked better.

#2 See if you can source some Molly (MDMA). This is not necessary, but it helps. Make sure that it is actually MDMA and not some BS. It really helps you be outgoing and confident, every time that I have rolled in a bar/club/festival I have at least made out with a girl, and had tons of confidence to approach...etc

#3 When waiting in line you want to start chatting up the people around you. Everybody will be happy. Just small talk about "man it's cold as shit" "man can't wait to get drunk" , oh "man I'm rolling Molly..etc"

#4 Try to make friends with guys, not just girls. If you chat up a dude in line, or a dude getting a drink he might have girl friends and maybe buy the group a round after you meet them for a 5-10 minutes. Prepare to spend some money.

#5 I would simply say, if anyone asks - yeah I just moved to NYC a few weeks ago. Don't volunteer the information - that you don't really know anyone yet - but if they ask you its ok to say that "I started my job a couple weeks ago (to show you are not a bum) and yeah haven't met many people yet" if you are being NT nobody will think you're weird and they might even go out of their way to introduce you to a few people.

#6 I know this is mainly cope, but in your case at 6'0 and good face - just be confident. You can't seem insecure, or low confidence. Don't be overly nervous, or fidgety, or weird. If you can be genuinely confident - you should have some success and meet some people. There's no reason not to be imo, you will never see any of those people again unless it goes well and you become friends. Start conversations, and if one doesn't go well just move on to the next like it's no big deal. Don't get discouraged if a few conversations are a bit awkward. Keep trying and you will find some people who will drink with you and welcome you into their circle.

Start chatting people up TODAY. Get your social skills up. Socializing is not something you can turn on when you need it. Start conversations with the barista who makes your coffee, the guy in your office, the guy bagging your groceries. SMALL TALK.

Get the awkwardness and approach anxiety out of the way before you go out for new years. If you have been starting conversations and chatting with people all week - your Social Meter will be ready before you go out. Trust me this is a BIG ONE

Thanks, bro. Appreciate the response. I have been eating like shit the last few days because of Christmas, but the next 4 days I will make sure to do hardcore gymcelling again to have a decent pump. Talking to people is something that scares me a lot. I have never approached a girl for example. I always wait until they approach me and even then I self-sabotage and tell myself they don't really want to talk to me etc.
