I think outside of nightclubs it's mainly if you get lucky on a dating app or meet someone at work. Most outside of dating apps meet though social circle, which is why high school and university are so important.

I have heard of people meeting though online gaming, but it seems to be very rare.

University seems to be a place where the extroverted thrive, but if you're autistic / heavily introverted then it seems to be quite difficult. Your best bet might be to join a university society / club and try and focus on getting friends first before thinking about how to meet women.
