What are the best shoelifts?

I‘m already tall but when manlets start to get taller with shoelifts I need to keep up.
I just want to be around 1 inch taller.
Which are the best and most comfortable shoelifts?
And how big should they be in order to give 1 real inch of height because I heard that they compress when you stand on them?
