I can't speak about dutch but for german just pick it up as an elective in uni or do a online course most lamgauges a1 and a2 is not diffocult atleast it wasnt for german it is after a2 the difficulty climbs rapidly

I took up german 1 in uni and did these courses

for a2 I took german 2 in next semester and after that I learnt it independently by consuming german media and self study

if you just want to make basic conversations any germanic language shouldn't be too hard since you are an english speaker. english itself is a germanic language and you’re already familiar with much of the sound system and sentence structure. it is not like you will be learning alien sounds or some strange articulation like if you were learning chinese or arabic

Honestly, just pick up an online course to get the basics of grammar and vocabulary, then start consuming content in whichever language you wanna learn. Start by maybe watching movies, series or youtube videos on topics that might interest you, then after you're confident that you actually understand the language go on to watching/reading more complex shit like science articles or some other shit containing valuable words or grammatically complex sentences. And once you feel like you actually understand everything you can try to hop on some forums or just add Dutch ppl on discord and have conversations with them. Most of the time when someone hears you've been learning their language they get really excited and are eager to help you learn.
