what are the cons of getting a hair transplant besides the price?

Arent too many cons in itself, its more about how well the HT is performed and if you are an ideal candidate.
Price isnt too bad if you strike up a deal with the HT team (I referred a family member to have it same day at a discount for both of us.) The biggest con is the problem with density and scar tissue. If you have a very rounded cranium that has alot of skin tension, I dont think the hair follicle survival is very good. Ive had 1.5x HT and parts of my hairline with scar tissue (or just high collagen or something) had low follicle survival rate.

After having 1800 total grafts removed from the back of my head, its barely made a dent in the donor area, so there doesnt seem to be a risk of running out unless youre giga balding.

THe sucky part of HT is that you gotta be REAL careful not to knock out the implanted follicles after the procedure. You have to sleep upright and pour water over your head since you cant scrub. Then your hairline will be red for a few months and will show in pictures. I had to renew my license and I had a red scalp IN MY DRIVERS LICENSE!

The biggest con is that you'll need more than one session of HT. You may get a new hairline but its density will likely have you not yet satisfied. Your hairline will not be a Chad hairline because that is dependent on the shape of your skull and you may soon realize that your hairline was not actually receding when it in fact was your face receding away from your hairline! Due to clockwise rotation of your face.

Revisions are done atleast a year after the initial procedure. So you cant just fix it willy nilly.

if u arent a boomer, you will need 2-3 for full density with a 1 year wait between them. luckily fringes are trendy nowadays, but if that changes you are fucked.
