So I just bought this neck training equipment

64EB951E 03F9 474F AA48 0B949652FC3F

And my mom received the package and once I get home she got mad at me for buying the product and telling me if I was aware that I could be paraplegic from neck injury

And it was something I never thought about it and never heard in this forum talk about this so I just want to hear some opinions/tips

The neck training that can hurt you is the training that consists of resting your head on the ground, I don't remember its name. In itself neck training with weights and done correctly is the OPPOSITE (although please stretch the muscles afterwards, don't be an idiot), neck training reduces pain in old age. And if you have a car accident it improves your chances of surviving enormously.

don't play around with the neck, is not like hurting an elbow, it can be a nightmare. i suffer from neck pain and associated dizziness from abusing it both with motorcycle and some rugby yrs ago. first check if you have any sign of scoliosis and stuff..in case totally avoid it, if you are totally okay consider moderate training with bandages

100% chance. rip bro

You shouldn’t use this device while standing because it puts stress on your spine.

Only by laying on a bench so that the weight puts stress only on your neck muscles

1. Your mom's a retard.
2. You don't need a fucking harness.

I use one of these with elastics. Can't see how you could injure yourself unless you go way too heavy.

Good for you brother. Neck training is mandatory

With that being said this tool is dangerous if you dont know what you do / go too heavy or rush progressive overload. You will not turn paraplegic but you can definitly cause excessive intervertebral damage which will lead to disc disease.
However thats only if you are retarded with your training.

I'd suggest you to start very light and focus on feeling the muscles of the neck, isolating it well & having immaculate form.
On the side you still need to do your heavy squats, deadlifts & rows which all grow your traps/neck like hell.
And you can add neck bridges which are great but these are very hard to do & risky if your not focused & lazy

We all gonna make it boiz
