What are the risks of having kids at 40?

My mom had me at like 20 and then my sister at around 40. My sister doesn't have any issues, but I know the chances are greater of you do have kids later on.

I know there are less female eggs at 40, but are they worse eggs or something?

IDK, but my mom had me at like 27 but my dad is 15 yrs older, idk if it matters if the dad is old as well

I’ve heard that egg quality decreases with age but, it seems bs because I’ve seen siblings who are better looking and smarter than their older siblings

Maybe older mums will be less healthy during pregnancy
