Botox for masseter/temporalis muscle is obviously cope. You need 10+ sessions to even come close to a semi-permanent result.

Surgical removal seems to give pretty drastic results quite quickly.

But what are the side effects? Does it mess up your chewing skills?

Only get this if u have a narrow jaw. Developed masseters look good unless it's on a narrow jaw.

For masseter hypertrophy to look good an already wideish mandible is required. Think of Hexum or Pitt, both have bulging masseters that look amazing, but the reason why they look amazing (apart from low bf ofc) is that both already have relatively wide mandibles. In their case the hypertrophy only adds to the lower third, it makes it flare out even more and stretches the skin, giving the illusion of hollow cheeks. Masseters are naturally rounded muscles, if you were to chew with your jaw, I believe the jaw would end up with a really weird and unpleasant shape. Imo it's best to just save up for implants. You may try it out to see how it looks, but again, be aware of what I told you.

I also want to remove my masseter muscles, for now I can cope with botox but I have a fear that my masseters will one day grow back even after several botox sessions. Im also thinking about doing this surgery.
I have gigawide cheekbones. the masseters are hiding it. chewing really did destroy my face.

Yes, I started doing botox at the end of 2020 and my massters were mostly gone at march 2021 after 2 sessions. But after that I started mewing and I think that made my masseters regrow again, I became baloonlooking again. Now I started 2 botox sessions since may of 2021 and I hope my masseters will be gone at the near end of 2021. I somehow think that botox isnt as strong anymore since my body must have build antibody to botox. Hopefully masseters will be gone. I cant bear anymore to look into the mirror see myself baloonlooking despite the fact that I have very strong and wide cheekbones naturally. I adopted this from my mother who also has gigawide cheekbones.
I even had prominent cheekbones when i was literally fat.
In this photos Im going to provide now you can see that I was overweight and still had wide cheekbones. I personally even like the look of my old looks where I was fat more than how I look now because my cheekbones are literally gone. Masseter hypertrophy is a nightmare if your cheekbones are naturally wide and good like mines. Im literally missing my second best feauture after my browridge

@Salludon thoughts??

my face is already wide however one side of my face is underdeveloped. should i still chew?
idk i would figure out what lifestyle habit can affect it such as sleeping and chewing
does anyone know if bsso can shift the jaw sideways? that might be something worth looking into

His jaw is narrow compared to his bizygos
imo it has how the masseter is shaped. different race have different masseter positioning.

Huge lifefuel
I have the Same cheekbones
And always was sure that chewing was a looksmin for me since the mass of the masseter wasn’t at the bottom of the rammus but above

do you need to inject botox right under cheeckbones? Most doctors don’t do it

I dont know, they simply injected botox to the masseters. they touched it and then directly made 3 incisions. It must have worked because in march 2021 (started botox in the november of 2020, so 5 months) my masseters were mostly gone but reappeared in the begin of may cuz of gayass mewing..
Never experienced anything like that and i’ve been chewing for 3 hours daily for 2+ years now
your face shape isnt the same as mine. My cheekbones are very wide and my gayass masseters must be sitting next to my cheekbones hence overshadowing my cheekbones whenever I have masseter hypertrophy. I had visible cheekbones when i was literally fat. this is how wide my cheekbones are.
