Noticed hair thinning at the age of 19. Should I hop on minox?

Oral gives some people bloating and fast heartbeat and shit, topical gives dry scalp and rashes for some people but also doesn’t even grow hair 50% of the time, at 19 u should just hop on fin

oral = comes with higher chance of severe side effects. That includes, rarely, severe cardiac issues like pericardial effusion or myocardial ischemia.

topical = much lower chances of severe side effects. Gets absorbed into the bloodstream at about 1:100 the rate of oral.

Both are equally effective for stimulating hair growth on the scalp, but oral minoxidil will also grow hair elsewhere (eyebrows, eyelashes)

Before jumping on anything go and have your dermatologist check your hair. If it's AGA you'll need to hop on finasteride either way to keep your hair.
