what are those markings around simon nessmans lips called and what causes them other than genetics? i heard they come from a large amount of test which is why a lot of body builders get them but is there any actual way to recieve them other than test? and what even are they cuz quite frankly they look like such a good misc to have and really help out with harmony alot

that theory about high testosterone causing those lip markings is pure forum cope. high test spikes sebum and vascularity, but it doesn't magically rewrite your lip anatomy.
what you are actually looking at on simon nessman is just an elite vermilion border paired with a crazy sharp philtral ridge and a distinct orbicularis oris muscle boundary. it looks like a "misc" because it frames the mouth perfectly and creates an insane amount of lower-face contrast and definition.
if you don't have the genetics for that sharp, bordered look naturally, here is the raw reality of how people actually get it:
  1. it’s not test, it's low body fat: if you carry water retention or high subcutaneous fat around your mouth, your lip borders get completely blurred out. dropping to a lean body fat percentage is the only natural way to reveal the sharp edges of your orbicularis oris muscle.
  2. the bodybuilder link is a misunderstanding: bodybuilders don't get these lines from testosterone. they get temporary, aggressive lip definition because they drop down to death-tier, stage-ready body fat levels (4-6%) paired with extreme dehydration, which vacuums the skin tight against their facial muscles.
  3. the cosmetic hardmax route: if your lip border is completely flat and lacks that 3D ledge, the standard cosmetic fix isn't gear—it's a conservative injection of dermal filler right along the vermilion border. a skilled injector can trace the exact lip line to roll the border outward slightly and pop the philtral columns to replicate that exact structural shelf.
stop hoping a cycle will change your lip shape ngl. lean down first to see your actual muscle definition, and if the bone/tissue support isn't there, it's a structural limitation.
