What are your thoughts on brown suits?

I'm thinking of getting a tailored suit that is versatile , so I could wear it on a date or to a funeral. How about brown ? It has a punch to it. I don't dig navy blue or charcoal grey. Any thoughts ?

Tailored clothes will fit you the same no matter what your weight. That is kind of the point. I had a jacket tailored that fit me through 65 plus or minus pounds.

Might as well wear a tux if you're gonna go black.
