I’ve been rotting on google scholar for about 2 days now about the benefits, possible sides and more of nootropics, I’ve mainly looked in to mainstream compounds like Semax, Selank and Cerebrolysin. I wanna discuss what you think about these and also answer any questions if you do have some,
Looking forward to this topic

useless cope
I mean theres countless studies I can cite that proves they somewhat have a positive effect on the brain, not directly impacting IQ ofc, but still playing a role on recovery from strokes and cognitive function ext.

PMID22760418 (Cerebrolysin improved neurological outcomes and functional recovery)
PMID31555271 (Cerebrolysin improves cognitive function)
PMID28500597 (Cerebrolysin’s neuroprotective effects in cognitive recovery)
useless

TAK-653, all of the racetams, armodafinil and modafinil, and rx adhd meds are they only things worth taking from my experience, and only used sparingly. cerobrolysin is good but i would'nt even call it a nootropic, it is more of a brain repair tool.

sema and selank are overrated in my opinion, celebrolysin is valid tho it keeps the brain in an active state, as you stated reparing it

Yo just to be clear I’m not defending nootropics, I just want to discuss them with actual proof behind statements, currently I’m not planning on taking them just looking in to them. Also if I did I would use them for enhanced active recall & cognitive function
