I went through a phase in my early 20's where I read a lot of classics. That was probably my favorite.

Lady Chatterley's Lover is a must though. Early 20'th century novel about a rich bitch cheating on her husband with her groundskeeper. Really delves into the subtleties of the female mind and female nature. People back in the day understood things that we've since lost. This will certainly be required reading for my son when he's about 17 years old. All young men should read this one.
