If by "short face" you mean your face looks worse & too round whenever you clench your jaws together, look into AGGA. Other incels here will post Ronny Ead vids and claim MSE is always better, but they're just gay believers in some aspie who's addicted to oral procedures with 1k followers on a YouTube channel.
MSE will cause the maxilla to expand laterally, which is not favorable if you already have a roundish face. You may need to expand the maxilla downwards and outwards, in which case AGGA is more favorable.
And yes, any procedure that involves movement of the teeth will temporarily cause "wobbly teeth". That is why you should stay in CAB (controlled arch braces) for the whole time your specialist recommends. Unlike Ronny who jumped off them early.
