What can be done for a short face and assymetry to the mandible?

I ve posted on another forum ,but I havent understood too well ,what can be done for a short face ( middle and lower thrud) and mandible assymetry ( not too much )?

It sounds like a C shaped Facial asymmetry. Severity needs to be determined as the solution can range from invisalign/braces with elastics to fix your bite/malocclusion to Orthoganathic surgery for severe cases.

Also, A short mid face is ideal. You may just have a big forehead which can be fixed through lowering the hairline. Widening the masseters would also be important to make it seem like your jaw is bigger and general palate expansion could even help out your proportions as well.

If by "short face" you mean your face looks worse & too round whenever you clench your jaws together, look into AGGA. Other incels here will post Ronny Ead vids and claim MSE is always better, but they're just gay believers in some aspie who's addicted to oral procedures with 1k followers on a YouTube channel.

MSE will cause the maxilla to expand laterally, which is not favorable if you already have a roundish face. You may need to expand the maxilla downwards and outwards, in which case AGGA is more favorable.

And yes, any procedure that involves movement of the teeth will temporarily cause "wobbly teeth". That is why you should stay in CAB (controlled arch braces) for the whole time your specialist recommends. Unlike Ronny who jumped off them early.

A lot of bad information is being given to you on this thread , thought to help you out here . Lefort 1 extrusion to vertically extend the upper jaw. This will also require bonegraft usually taken from the anterior hip.

Try and smile, if you cannot see your top teeth properly it's a good indication your upper jaw is too short.

If your lower jaw is also recessed then you will require either an IMDO or BSSO.

However if there is an assymetry you may have to go the traditional BSSO route to fix the assymetry If indicated then a genioplasty is required.

I heard AGGA was complete nonsensical a recent thread was locked talking about it , as to not to breath life on such a procedure on this forum. Theres even a before and after of someone getting this and it looking bad.
