What can cause my philtrum sticking out?

The real problem isn’t the lenght. It just looks so long because of the shape. I measured it up a couple of times and it’s 16-17mm.

what is causing sticking it out? I think it was flatter when I was a kid according to pics

I never noticed it untill I joined this fourm and they started making funn of my philtrum , saying it’s deformed and the worst one they have ever seen

I think one could make a cut below the nose and then stitch it back up and let it heal to look somewhat like this

but good luck finding a surgeon to do this and also there'd be scarring

edit: actually in a lip lift they kinda do the same thing anyway, you could get that and tell your surgeon about your philtrum concerns

He doesn't have nasolabial folds in the slightest. The folds/notch you are referring to is actually just called the philtrum. His problem is his philtrum is extremely narrow

also if you are low inhib you could just make a quick cut yourself and then go to the ER (aka emergency room) and say you got in a fight or something and get it for free jfl
