Can you explain how? During or also after? because i’ve looked this up before and jt says it does not recess you or block growth, with the exception of extractions and possibly extrusion.
You can't change the position of your maxilla (upper jaw) without surgery because it's a bone structure, and unlike teeth or soft tissue, bones can't be moved or reshaped non-surgically
yes they can, MSE moves literal bone. Surgery might be the only option for forward or different maxillary angle though
look at r/orthotropics. Personally my maxilla went from forward grown to flat/recessedish tier in 2years of using the braces, fortunately i got them removed already at 12 so was able to fix that.
During them it blocks the growth of your maxilla and jaw both forwards and laterally. Braces for class 2 are the worst as they dont only block your maxillas growth but also pull it back and downwards
