any way i can avoid paying for the marpe and force my insurance to pay for it?
There's no like 100% guaranteed way to force your insurance to pay for it, but you can try ig, here's what id do:

1. if it is truly subhuman, you can get a letter of necessity (why you need to get the work done) by your orthodontist (or a second opinion guy), and send xrays and shit, and file a formal appeal with your insurance.

2. switch providers if #1 fails

3. It might not be THAT expensive to just get it done w/o insurance, my office offers discounts if u are paying in cash, you can also do like a monthly payment plan, and if you get it done at the same place you got your braces, that might be another discount.

Hope this helps

The braces won't fix your recession, I would get a second opinion (i.e. go to another orthodontist and try to get the marpe), and surgery when your plates fuse if you didn't get the marpe or if it didn't help enough. Anything but ortho work or surgery is mainly cope, also obviously mew and don't mouth breathe for better development
