Your maxilla doesnt seem to be anywhere near recessed. Recessed maxilla = OVERbite. Nor you seem to be downgrown, because from this photo your gonial angle seems rather low. Also your nose is straight. Recessed/downgrown maxilla = hooked nose.
You pheraps might just have low bone densty.
But for you, currently SOFTMAX IS LAW.

this is honestly a better picture than what i usually take and/or see in the mirror. my maxilla is def recessed compared to my jaw, and it gives me this undesirable moon shape look. from the front it’s also noticeable, as the maxilla area looks flat and dead. i could send some pictures to your dm if you want to help me out. and trust me, i’m going all in on softmaxxing haha
