What causes hairy leg/hairy chest

I have a kinda feminine face and when i take off the clothes to to the pool or some shit everyone look at me cause my legs are hairy AF, my chest as well, and now i just developed some hair in the shoulders. I only got this hairy at 17 and im pretty sure an hormonal imbalance caused this. I know most members nowadays are retarded but im gonna try one more time to see if anyone here has any knowledge in the subject of how body hair grows, is it as simple as too much testosterone being converted to dht? My hair is also recessing af but i dont have a beard.
