mainly loss of facial fat and aging. the less fat you have the more hollow your undereyes will be if genetically your infraorbitals are recessed. not really a solution just a halfassed explanation

some phenos are much much more prone to upper maxillary recession than others and non-recessed infras are rare, on top of having the genes you need good development to have good infras most of the time
