what causes rhino botching?

80-90% of rhinos i see get botched, how? is it the nature of it or is it the doctor. its such a mainstream surgery but it has higer botchrate than something like obo or cantho???

Your nose either makes or breaks your face harmony. Most of the times people look botched with rhinos its because their face is shite and the rhino just made them look more subhuman, and sometimes its the doctors being incompetent

harmony isnt the principle of botching. most people that get rhino have average/good ratios, even the good results, you clearly can morph someone and see the ascension, but when done, looks like shit

Rhinoplasty although one of the most common cosmetic procedures for guys is overwhelmingly done on women. Most rhino surgeons only know how to work with female noses and feminising them so there's a good chance you'll be given something mismatched as a guy. Not to mention different ethnicities have different noses which only adds another layer of confusion and the need to search for someone who specialises with your phenotype.

Another reason is that most people think smaller = better, whilst you might want to raise the tip to mitigate the appearance of a longer nose you don't really want to shrink anything else. A narrow bridge can make you look sickly and if you take away too much of the nose itself it'll at best look too small for your face or at worst begin to look skeletal. You'll usually want a nose job that projects your nose at the very least, being able to widen the nose bridger would be another plus but it's not something commonly done.


All these paired result in what are very common botched looking nose jobs.

Simply because surgeries cant and will never be precise/perfect lol, not only with rhino but any surgerie you get. Is just the typical expectation vs reality meme

You can look up "male rhinoplasty" and find a couple results, look for results that you like (and preferably share your pheno). The surgeon I've been looking at works primarily with my phenotype and seems to have both male and female noses covered fairly well.

Yeah doctors just being low iq nowadays as iq has decreased over the years
