In my case, I have a rather good forward growth but a rather narrow face. Nosebreather.

Then probably genetic, low bone mass. I often see people with wide face (and strong jaw from face) with recession, bad forward growth

Doesn't really work. I tried it during 2 years with Mastic gum, Chisel, etc. 0 change at all or very very small, invisible.
Also it's not good, hard chewing can cause TMJ issues.

Only jaw fillers helped to fix the problem with narrow jaw and inward gonions
