imo you just want to go lighter, not necessarily change the color

dark brown --> brownish-green/hazel will be discrete enough where people don't call you out but the contrast will still be amazing

i use desio eye personally, they have a "timeless" or smth collection, i use the green ones

i don't get called out ever and im asian

tbh depends on the use case as well

i wanted something that improved my contrast but looked natural and wasn't something that would raise any alarms

if you want people to be like "WOW are those your real eyes" then go darker

also be careful cuz many people overestimate just how much color they need, just a little change is a lot
