Recently i've been getting along with some girl, and at some point i understood that i fell in love w her.
We went for a walk, and there she kept giving me various hints, like that I looked very good and asking me why I didn't have a girlfriend. A few days later, her friend indirectly hinted to me that this girl liked me. However, one very sad event happened in her life. I tried to be supportive of her, however, without thinking, I said a stupid thing that probably hurt her. I immediately apologised, she said it was ok. But after that episode she started to treat me more coldly, we started to communicate less. All this situation happened 1-2 days ago.

So, what did I do wrong? How can I fix this mess up?

For context, I will say that she had an argument with someone very close to her. Further conversation went something like this:
M - me; G - girl
M)you made up with...?
G)not yet
M)damn, thats not good
M)have you had this happen with her before?
G)yeah, a couple times
M)but you two made up afterward, right?
After this message she hasnt answered me for 15 minutes, which was VERY strange, cuz she usually answered me immediately. I realized the shit I'd gotten myself into, and apologized. Then, she said "its ok", and you know the rest.
I guess its better to just shut the fuck up sometimes than to say anything.
