The keyword here is practice. Do you think a believer who commits suicide goes to hell? No because you cant practice suicide
@john2
Suicide in and of itself shouldn't be condoned and stigmatized
Yes, In most cases it's unnecessary-permanent solution for a temporary problem
Made in the lowest emotional state when one is overcome with despair
seems dumb and irrational

But deep inside the person there always is a desire for rebirth and a better life

Throughout history you can see examples of people like Socrates who did it in their rational mind
What about some people who killed themselves to avoid needless suffering of rape/torture
What about generals who killed themselves after lost battles/wars as a final act of honor?

The Romans respected it
So did the Japanese
and different cultures throughout the ages
I don't think we're in a position to belittle or condone an act that requires bravery and strong will

Yes. 1 Corinthians 3:17.
Did Jesus not die for the sin of suicide?
Nothing can separate us from the of God in Christ Jesus.
And King Saul commited suicide in the old testament, and the bible says hes in heaven

Why wouldn't this also apply to murder-suicide, can you 'practice' murder-suicide? No, you can't. You're saying that you repeatedly need to do a sin for it to count as a practice or better, a sinful practice, which is false. Satan sinned against God only once, he didn't have to practice sin or make a habit of it so that God would one day be annoyed of him and then just throw him into hell. The same can be said for Adam and Eve's case, they only sinned once, with not practice or habit of sin prior to their downfall. If you sin even once, the sin has been committed & you will suffer God's wrath for sinning even once, unless you repent of it... which in the case of suicide is totally impossible. Also, a genuine believer of God who is righteous enough to enter heaven will never even be stupid or blinded enough to kill himself thinking that God will save him.

Its just the estrogen in a man clouding his thinking and making him emotional like a foid during such a moment when death seems to be near. If you kill yourself, you're a coward. Also, man's wisdom is foolish & God's wisdom triumphs, I don't care what the romans or the Japanese did, bringing up what other cultures did is irrelevant since they were idol worshipers or pagans. There is no rebirth, you're only given one life. So anything in the hopes of achieving a second chance is pure delusion... which is what basically everyone seeks for. You can always make a change in life. Suicide requires guts to pull off because you were literally created to live, not just kill yourself. It really is dumb & irrational.
