I've been reading threads about the 'peak' of PSL which I unfortunately missed, and how there was so much lost information and knowledge which is missing today, and so I tried to access lookism.net through the internet archive.

Unfortunately you can't access the 'legendary threads', or at least I failed.

But what exactly is .org missing compared to .net? Were there any threads on certain topics which nobody archived and have never been recreated with similar levels of knowledge?

Is it possible to restore this knowledge?

3) Megastars that consistently churned out good content. Our top posters were the best in PSL history. They never missed. Every Megathread was a banger.

That's because there's a lot of different groups on looksmax, compared to lookism that pretty much had the same culture (from my knowledge,) as the two sites that preceded it. You have all sorts of blackpillers and redpillers and everything in between, with a few bluepillers too. They come from everywhere including different YouTube channels, different incel sites and even tiktok.

if you wanna talk about the history of PSL you have to go all the way back to the days of puahate

back in 2010-2011 all users were from europe and north america

the only theory that existed back then was LMS (looks money status)

there was a laid back atmosphere and camaraderie, little trolling or shitposts, all quality threads. everyone did their best to bring their perspective. i remember one of the posters was a french bouncer, and he posted stories about nightlife dynamics etc

there were mostly discussions about looks, whether surgery could really improve your looks, and there were a lot of great MM experiments. they were pretty much the earliest attempts at exposing the reality of being 8+ and how women react to it

there were tons of references to gandy/opry/chico/nessman, and they're still the top models a decade later

there were virtually no ethniks, and ethnikceldom was not even recognized yet. it wasn't until late 2011 or 2012 that ethniks started invading the forum in increasing numbers and started to post about how to get a white girl, which led to the word 'ethnic' being banned, so everyone started using 'ethnik' and that's why that word is still in use today

instead of "go ER" it was "go sodini" back then. then ER actually came along and posted on the forum and the rest was history

then everyone moved to sluthate after puahate was shut down following ER doing what he did

sluthate was basically PSL on steroids, a lot of new theories, a lot of MM experiments, the most insane thread titles were probably created there. there was even a meetup at one point, but that's a whole separate story

then lookism came along for some reason i don't remember and everyone jumped on board, the forum software on sluthate wasn't great so that probably helped, and lookism basically became the new center of PSL culture, and again, the creation of new theories and MM experiments continued. it's interesting to note that at this point PSL had become majority ethnik, so the discussions reflected that shift in demographics

and now we're in the post-PSL era, which is forums like looksmax and others

this is just a very brief history, there are hundreds of wild and crazy details and stories
