Sometimes I don't even do it.
But,the ideal routine is.
Use Punching knucles and hit at medium strength for 1 minute at a time.
Take a break of 20-30 seconds,do again.
This is 1 session,it can be of 3-5 minutes.
U can do mutliple sessions per week if u can tolerate the pain.
But don't do more than 3-5 sessions or u would hurt urself.
Some tips.
1.dont smash your browridge or forehead,u would look weird like an alien with injury
Only smash ur obitals for hooding.upper orbitals create hooding not browridge.
2.orbitals require least efforts.
3.nasal bridge is more painful and requires more effort.
4.chin is less painful and requires more force to see changes,the underside edges of a water bottle is good enough,or somehing that strong,the fist isnt enough to see chin gains.
5.hold head still with ur other hand so u don't get brain jerks which are bad.

No,that's why u should use your knucles not your interpharalaangeal bones.but can you hypertrophy the bone by just rubbing it or lightly tapping?? there is still not much force being done to induce the growth, thats why im not sure about it because what I want is a permanent good result not just swelling. If you could dm me a video or something it would be appreciated bc I still have many doubts on how.
when bonesmashing I usually use the proximal interpharalangeal bones instead of my knuckles because I get a better feeling of the areas.

Knucles provide more force
Tap/hit/rub with enough force to provide bone changes but not with too much force as too much force can hurt your nerves and blood vessels.
There's a threshold for bone change, when u start hitting slowly u will surely start to feel this "threshold"
U just need to pass the threshold slightly,and dont hit too hard.
