I am a vegan. Veganism is not a diet; it is a philosophy. The vegan diet comes with veganism, obviously.

Definition of Veganism : A way of living that aims to reduce non-human animal suffering and non-human animal exploitation as far as is reasonably possible by any extensions.

Definition of Vegan : Individual that applies veganism to their life.

In order to stay safe on a vegan diet, one must supplement vitamin B12, vitamin D, iodine, and essential polyunsaturated fatty acids, such as docosahexaenoic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid.

Statements produced by Ergogenic.

Yes. I became a vegan on 26 October, 2024. I was a vegetarian for approximately 2 years before that. : D

Yes, It is to minimise non-human animal suffering according to the definition of veganism if you read the definition in my post above. : D

it gives you cancer + its cope and iditotic
The evidence for meat "causing" cancer is mostly just correlation and not causation. It would be very difficult to identify meat as cancer causing in isolation because it would require a human to only eat meat and no other foods. Meat has almost all if not all nutrients in good amounts. Carnivore diet is certainly better than a diet composed of high simple sugars and high saturated fats. Carnivore is not better than a diet that has all nutrients and foods in moderation though.

As a vegan, I am against animal suffering because animals are conscious and sentient individuals. Meat is not a requirement in a place with advanced technology. We have the technology to grow laboratory meat now, and that does not require animal suffering. All nutrients can be obtained from plants and tablets / pills that have synthetic vitamins and minerals.

Overall, I do agree that carnivore diet is cope and idiotic in almost all cases.

Thank you. I try to be as unbiased as I can by considering both sides while presenting facts and evidence.

The whole "vegan" vs "carnivore" diet for health and longevity outcomes debate depends entirely on how effectively and carefully it is planned. I think a planned vegan diet has an edge over carnivore for health and longevity because it will usually have more antioxidants for lower oxidative damage and more fibre and nitrates for lower blood pressure. The difference may not be big though. Both diets may be good from a longevity perspective if planned correctly.

Veganism at least has the bonus of minimised animal suffering as far as is reasonably possible.

A fundamental rule of Toxicology is: The dose makes the posion.
