yeah your hairline is great, especially since youre 16 taking finasteride or dutasteride would be killing your balls, bad idea

These drugs inhibit the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme which converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone.
Dihydrotestosterone damages scalp hair follicles because dihydrotestosterone is an androgen, and scalp hair follicles do not cooperate well with androgens. DHT will bind to your hair follicles and cause a cascade of biological effects that will ultimately miniaturize your hair follicles depending on how sensitive those follicles are to DHT. Some men are lucky and don't have sensitive follicles, others are sensitive in certain regions, and the most unfortunate go bald.
The difference between these drugs is that finasteride inhibits DHT by approximately 70% while dutasteride inhibits DHT by approximately 90%.
