What do I do about hair

I have monkey hair for some reason despite both my parents being straight haired do I keep it short or grow it out. I’m 19 so I feel like long hair is pretty gross and not tryna be a broccoli head. Now it’s just cut down short with a lot of texture and I’ve pulled off a buzz cut so idk what to stick with. Some chicks loved old hair but a lot didn’t

oiling: use olive oil on damp hair and use a microfiber towel to cover for at least 30 minutes then rinse with water

eggs yolck : simply use the yolk of one egg 1/2 times a week on dry hair, massage well and rinse with cold water

limit shampoo: MAX 1x week
