i have an insanely recessed mandible but i already have braces and i recently asked my orthodontist what i can do about my recessed mandible and he said i don’t have one?

no you need it because if his relation beetwen maxilla and mandible is normal you cannot use any applience to guide his jaw foward becuase he would get underbite, also for xray sou can see how much growth potential there is

There is no debate about whether his mandible is recessed. It is. But I wanted to know if he had an X-ray done, because he asked what to say to his orthodontist. In response to his orthodontist claiming his mandible isn't recessed, he could argue that based on cephalometric standards, it's a Class II overjet. This could help him have a better conversation with his ortho.
