i'm an underachiever myself but if i was a NEET for more than 5 years i would get unbearably bored from the lack of stimulation. i can only imagine it if you had like an active social life.

Long term NEET here - when you're younger you spend your time playing video games, watching movies/series and just browsing the internet. As you age and grow out of video games, you stick to movies/series but even they soon lose their appeal and then you just mindlessly browse. Eventually you look for a way out of the NEET life. 5 years is all it takes for you to completely fry your dopamine receptors to any type of stimulation like the ones mentioned above. At that point, you start wagecucking and think about normalfag stuff like house, car and career. There are those who continue being NEETs and they eventually become "wizards", there is no hope for these people and they end up 40 year old virgins before they rope. The NEET life is not good long-term, it's good when you do it only in short bouts e.g. 1-3 months at a time, a break from wagecucking and life and just NEET it up.

I spend most of my time growing plants I like, cycling through the country and taking pictures of plants and bugs, swimming, climbing, and overall relaxing, while wagies provide me with free autism bux.

Being NEET sounds miserable because all the best, complex dopamine sources cost money that you can only afford if you work. Like traveling, girls, good food, actual hobbies, activities

If you don’t work you can only cope with garbage low cost dopamine sources like beating your meat and consuming (movies, video games, junk food). You are reducing yourself to the bottom level of the Maslow pyramid, basically an animal. Zero chance at self actualization, no higher goal to be achieved

If you can get welfare, do it. If not, working the bare minimum amount of hours will always mog.

Well said. You are 100% correct, the more effort you put into achieving something, the better the dopamine and you won't fry your receptors by constantly oversimulating it day in day out sitting on front of your computer. At the start you delude yourself into thinking that what you're doing is okay since you enjoy it even though deep down you know it's wrong and not the way to live life. NEETs don't understand the concept of delayed gratification and if something takes any reasonable amount of effort/time, it's discarded because we're so used to getting cheap low quality dopamine on tap.

That actually sounds really fun and peaceful; work for a year and then take 3 months off to binge

Life only really starts once you become neet

You have to work, you want a wife and kids, a mortgage, a car and to live a decent life, you gotta work. The copers who say they don't want children or any of this will rope at 45 once they are all alone and everyone else is happy and has families.
NEETs cope that time is the most valuable resource and they're right about that but they claim to use their endless free time to study, improve themselves, etc in reality 99.99% of NEETs jerk off, play video games, watch movies, etc.

It does but it might be difficult explaining why you have 3 month gaps after a year of employment sooner or later.

You can just say your parents are sick or something if asked.

How old are you? NEET life sounds terrifying to me, I can't fathom what it's like having absolutely no friends, purpose or goals for years at a time and being a complete disappointment to your family.

I make more money not working than I do working, my country taxes labor by 40 to 50% depending on what tax bracket you're in.

Well it's extremely depressing once you realize what you have done. It's over really, once you realize, it's too little too late i guess. 27

Mate you are a special unicorn, average joe can't make 3k via some loophole and make double the minimum wage doing nothing. Ofc everyone would want to do that but it's just not possible.

Welfare pays $300/month

Rent costs like 1.5-2k for 1 room

When I become full time neet I will live at parents or live as cheaply as possible and just spend money on hobbies and maybe traveling. I already get work assessment allowance so practically a neet (except I’m in "training" a few hours a week). I also plan to study foreign for a year and even in that year I can get autismbuxx but it’s only for a year. At the place I am at I also have the chance to work there if I am able to but it’s only 24% (3 hours 3 days a week, basically the most of what I can stand before I burn out). I’ve basically been living like a Neet the past few years so I’m used to this shit now, my interests keep me engaged. I’m also very used to being alone and prefer it that way so it’s not much of a problem, I can play the same games or watch the same movies/shows over and over again and not get sick of it

NEET since 18 , 26 now.

I watch Series all day , normal Porn doesnt do it for me anymore so I fap to Trannyporn.
Nothing makes me happy anymore.
I hate the World.
I hate People under 22.

I will soon rope

Most people in marriages are miserable though. 70% of Americans are overweight/obese, the kids stay inside all day playing Fortnite, the wife and husband have a dead bedroom, the daughter becomes a massive whore and gets ran through by Chads in HS, them again in college, etc.

After all this the kids toss you in a retirement home and visit you maybe 1 time a year.
