If you're able to get a gf and friend group, then you should. If not, you will have a worse life but you should still enjoy whatever hobbies and copes you can instead of wallowing in misery. Its not rly something that anyone can just give an answer for you, what is fulfilling for one person wouldnt be fulfilling for another, someone who wants to be an academic would use their youth to make full use of their brain at their peak during their youth and make progress and achievements in their academic career, an athelete would want to achieve as much as possible and prolong his peak physical state to keep competing, other people will just want to enjoy their youth with friends and settle down, get a career in something you love, it really just depend on the person
