It was a different time for sure, I think for a lot of super young guys they really don't know how restrictive and confusing the culture was if you were trying to meet women around 2010-2018. It was an awful, horrible time, just a nightmare. It was like a gaslighting torture ritual, not just with trying to meet women but to have any regular life experience. With such a suffocating atmosphere I see why it's popular for young people to drink so much and smoke weed just to have a relaxed party
